Senior Contracts Manager
 
Conax Florida Corporation is pleased to announce an employment opportunity for a Senior Contracts Manager with experience in government contracts and government audits.  This newly created position is needed in our Contracts department at our office in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Conax Florida Corporation specializes in the design and manufacture of life saving devices, electro- explosively actuated devices and gas storage and release systems for military, underwater and aerospace applications. We are a "high-tech" business with extensive in-house design and manufacturing capabilities to satisfy customer requirements.

Senior Contracts Manager is responsible for all aspects of government and commercial customer contract proposals and negotiations working under the Director of Contracts and Legal Counsel.  This is a senior level position with a vast amount of responsibility.

Required Experience:


Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
• 10+ years experience in Export Controls/Contract Administration
• DOD, Government Contract and Audit experience
• Office skills, excellent organization abilities and ability to communicate verbally and in written form.

This Job Requires the Following Skills:

Responsibilities:
• Ensure contracts meets the guidelines for products and services covered under FAR, DFAR and commercial contracting practices.
• Proposal preparation for government and commercial contracts
• Negotiation of complex transactions
• Assist in Compliance & Ethics Program
• Review and work with government furnished procedures and policies.

Bachelors Degree

Travel Required: 10% of the time (approximate)
