Responsibilities include the following:
Prepare, submit and administer export licenses, Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA), Manufacturing License Agreements (MLA), Temporary Admission (ATA) Carnets, import certificates and miscellaneous correspondence to the Department of State and Department of Commerce
If appointed by the Lead Empowered Official, you will perform the function of Export Compliance Officer (ECO).
Review proposals, contracts and/or purchase orders and participates in technical programmatic discussion/meetings.
Coordinate with appropriate program personnel to review provisos on licenses and agreements to ensure business and customer requirements can be met by the license or agreement.
Assist in the review and approval of presentations, briefings, documents and other information provided to foreign persons for compliance with licenses and regulations prior to release outside the company.
Prepare and coordinate shipments of unclassified and classified, if classified with the BAE Security and Defense Security Services (DSS).
Coordinate all international hardware and software shipments with the Traffic/Shipping Department and invoices, carnets, etc..
Coordinate imports of unclassified and classified hardware with foreign parties to ensure proper customs paperwork is included and shipment is authorized under proper license exemptions.
If requested, possess the ability to perform export training to all new employees, current employees and special programs and provide BAE Systems, Inc. and/or government agencies with any required assistance or information needed during the review of license application.
Maintain export related record keeping functions as required by law; maintain the export licensing database for storing and tracking BAE Systems export licensing history; and prepare and distribute periodic reports on licensing status for use as requested.
Provide assistance on export related questions; review and approve Foreign Visitor and International Travel authorization; review status of licenses in-process and pending at the Department of State via Internet; and maintain license files as well as a database of current and expired license files, and issue reports on pending and approved licenses/approvals such as ITAR Exemptions, etc.
Remain knowledgeable in ITAR and Export administration (Commerce Regulations) by attending various seminars and/or trainings.
This position is located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidate. Applicants must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to Fort Walton Beach, FL or surrounding areas.

Required Experience:
